Avila Beach!

Two weeks ago, Andrew, my mom, and I went to Avila beach. It is about 2 1/2 hours away from Fresno. I really wanted to go and mom wanted to see how long it took us from our house. It was a great day! The sun was out, but it was breezy and cold. I left my shirt on for most of the time. There was also a row of shops that we went through, only ended up getting a couple of pieces of candy. Next time we want to check out the Santa Cruz Boardwalk!

Eclipse...Up Close and Personal

Last Tuesday night, Mom, Eric, Molly, Rex, Andrew, Allysa, and I all went to the midnight showing of the Twilight Saga: Eclipse. When we got to the theaters there was a huge line wrapped around outside so Andrew and I went to ask to make sure it was the right line we were supposed to be in. The guy that we asked said they already seated our auditorium. This was at about 10:15 pm. So we went inside and of course the place was packed. We had to camp out in the second row of the theater. I knew this was going to be a fun night for my neck, haha. Andrew, Allysa, Molly, and I played some Catch Phrase to pass the time. Once the movie started of course everyone in there was screaming and clapping. As the movie was playing my mom leans over and asks, "Does Edward look fat to you?" I started laughing because since we were sitting so close it was making the actors all look fat. A few minutes later Molly asked me the same thing. So while watching it I decided I needed to see it again where I can sit farther away and actually see everything. Once the movie ended it seemed like everyone in our group enjoyed it. I loved it. They have gotten way better compared to the first one. I'm actually planning on seeing it again tomorrow night with my friend from work :)

San Francisco!

I am a little behind on my blogging, but I did want to share some photos from my San Francisco trip with Zack. We went just for the day on May 18th. We had a lot of fun and did a ton of walking! My feet were killing me at the end of the day, but totally worth it. We drove to Alameda and parked my car and took the ferry into San Francisco. We decided it would be easier than trying to drive in the city and look for somewhere to park. The ferry took us right to Fisherman's Warf, which has a ton of things to do. We ate lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe and went through all the stores. I actually didn't buy anything, but we did take a lot of pictures, many of Zack since I was the one holding the camera. It was a blast and hopefully will be planning another trip there soon.

Helping Hands

Last Saturday, May 8th, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints participated in a state wide service project. Each stake was assigned a certain job. Our stake pruned trees on the Clovis trail. It was actually fun. Molly, Rex, my mom, and myself were are own little group moving from tree to tree. None of us knew how to prune trees, but our little 5 minute lesson seemed to do just fine. We decided if the tree looked naked, we did the job right! :) It was a really nice day outside with a cool breeze, Heavenly Father sure made it easy to serve.
Molly brought her camera so we got a few good pictures.

"I Like To Look For Rainbows, Whenever There Is Rain"

Anybody that lives in the central valley knows how crazy the weather was today! I was driving Eric and my mom to the airport this afternoon and it was pouring so hard it was really difficult to see even though the windshield wipers were going their fastest! The lightning kept flashing and then thunder followed a second later. On the way home the streets were flooded and it was even hailing. I love the rain and I do wish it rained more often. Once I got home there was an amazing rainbow outside. There were two rainbows but you can't see the second one really well. (It's above the other one). So here are some pictures that I think turned out pretty well considering I don't have an expensive camera.

Our backyard was flooded

One Year!

This past weekend we went down to San Diego for McKenzie's first birthday party! It's crazy that she's already 1, but on the other hand she's way too smart to only be 1! It was fun seeing her, Ryan, and Jen. She got so many toys (best one from me of course) and clothes, which just proves she is loved! Best feeling in the world is when she walks up to you and reaches up for you to hold her.

With the Birthday Girl! She's so cute and sweet!

We were singing "Happy Birthday" to her.

Big yawn and Andrew being a goofball.

Happy Birthday McKenzie! We love you!

"One Little Monkey, Jumping on the Bed"

A couple of months ago we got two puppies from Jill, Harley and Dallas. They are miniature wired haired dachshunds. Well Harley is a long haired and Dallas is the short haired. They sure can be a ton of fun! And yet on the other hand it is a real pain when I am sitting at my desk and I step into a little present that one of them left me. Oh, did I mention I was barefoot at the time? Gave everyone in my family a good laugh though!

Well Harley and Dallas sleep in my mom's room at night in a big kennel that has a bed inside of it for them. My mom bought a new big bed for it the other day at Costco and Harley got the biggest kick out of it! She was jumping all over it just like a little kid! I had to grab my camera and record some of it.

This is the type of thing that is just hard not to laugh it!

When we told her to come out...she would just lay down. Who doesn't love a new bed huh? Dallas didn't get as big of a kick out of it, but he did like laying on Andrew's legs!
