Helping Hands

Last Saturday, May 8th, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints participated in a state wide service project. Each stake was assigned a certain job. Our stake pruned trees on the Clovis trail. It was actually fun. Molly, Rex, my mom, and myself were are own little group moving from tree to tree. None of us knew how to prune trees, but our little 5 minute lesson seemed to do just fine. We decided if the tree looked naked, we did the job right! :) It was a really nice day outside with a cool breeze, Heavenly Father sure made it easy to serve.
Molly brought her camera so we got a few good pictures.

I'm glad we had a fun group to work with. Our trees looked fantastic.

  2. It really was a nice day, wasn't it? It kind of felt like we were giving the trees hair cuts, a little off here, a little off there. Good Times!
